Bowie CLAW is sponsoring an informational animal fostering clinic in conjunction with Prince George’s Animal Management to teach interested animal lovers about how to become a foster and what is involved in fostering. This is a purely informational session and requires no commitment.
When: Thursday, June 12th at 7pm
Where: Bowie Community Center, 3209 Stonybrook Drive, Bowie, MD 20715
The goal of Prince George’s Animal Management’s foster program is to get animals in need adopted to good homes. Especially in cases where the animals may not be suited to a shelter environment, they rely on fosters to care for the animals and find people interested in adopting. These animals might be underage and in need of a bottle foster, senior animals needing a quieter environment, have mild medical or behavioral issues, or have been in the shelter for a long time.
As always, we urge you to adopt needy animals! PG Animal Management’s adoption site is a great place to start.
